There is nothing sweeter on this earth than watching my children at play. They joyfully abandon any pretense of seriousness and revel in the pure, unadulterated happiness of running as fast as they can before they fall down. Then they immediately spring to their feet and repeat the excercise with the same, or often greater, enthusiasm, smiles in their eyes, laughter in their voices. The wonderful thing is that they don't need any special item, or even a special reason to do this. They do it because....they can!
They have this same ability to throw themselves wholeheartedly into anything they do, too. Whether it is play, chores, or learning something new, when they've decided that's what they're going to do, they don't hold back.
When I grow up, I want to be like my kids.
